PRIVATE to CLARENCE: I hope that after everything we went through to pull it off, that you enjoyed last night. Despite not knowing everything that happened, I think I might have had a decent enough time of it.
Is there anything that happened that I should be made aware of? /CLARENCE

As much as I enjoy entertaining the stray cat that has taken up residence in my flat the past couple of days, I much prefer being back in the office. It was a relief to go in yesterday and see that my desk and the things I was unable to collect a few weeks ago are still there, mostly untouched. I also find myself at odds given that I was not present for the arrival of the trainees and now they appear to be everywhere and I don't half of them. I do hope to quickly rectify that issue.
Yes, Addison, this means you can stop your plan to send me what you imagine a private investigator to wear by piece mail. Although I will publicly admit that I do find myself taken by the hat now.
PRIVATE to ADDISON I imagine this means that I owe you a meal of some sort, being gainfully employed once more. Let me know when your schedule would allow such and we'll go anywhere by the lunch room at the Ministry. I never cared for the food there. /ADDISON
At any rate, it will feel good to be a useful member of society once more.

What an amazingly dull week. For me personally at least.
At least my flat is immaculate. And my dear sister thought it would be a kindness to send me a fedora. Charming of a fashion statement it might be, I think she might be not so subtly suggest that I start looking toward the private sector. At least my skills will not go to waste.
